Why It’s Time To Reject Bad Science On Covid Restrictions

If you’ve been around the twitter #SmilesMatter community at all, then by now you’ve also seen the hashtag #RejectBadScience and likely understand the importance of why we need to reject bad science on covid restrictions.

What is “Bad Science”?
It’s using data in manipulative ways in order to procure certain reactions or responses. While many people out there are only listening to their country’s mainstream media sources’ interpretation of reported data and studies, there are many others out there who look at the raw data and see that it paints a very different picture than the one being popularly told.

Science is the process of learning, applying, analyzing data from multiple perspectives in order to discover underlying principals. Science is not a steadfast cannon of facts that must be obeyed. While you’ll often hear the common phrase “Trust the Science”, science itself is not a static, fixed object; it is a journey. A process.

To reject bad science on covid restrictions, it means to critically analyze data for yourself, or at the very least from alternative perspectives than just a single “approved/sanctioned/official” version.

Much more will be added to this, but in the meantime, here’s a few important links:
